Refund, Cancellation & Service Policies

Learn about our policies for VIN Verification, Clean Truck Check services, cancellations, re-issued documents, DMV delays, and mobile service fees.

Refund Policy

At Rollin VIN Verifiers, we provide mobile VIN verification and compliance services that require travel time, scheduling, administrative preparation, and completed DMV documentation. Because of this, the following refund policy applies:

VIN Verification Services

  • Once a VIN verification has been completed and DMV documents have been issued or submitted, service fees are non-refundable.

  • Travel fees are non-refundable once the technician has been dispatched or arrived at the scheduled location.

  • If a customer cancels after the technician has begun travel, a trip fee may still apply.

  • Refunds will not be issued due to:

    • DMV processing delays

    • DMV rejections unrelated to our verification process

    • Missing customer paperwork

    • Incorrect information provided by the customer

    • State-specific requirements outside of California

    • Customer failure to complete required DMV steps

Out-of-State VIN Verifications

For out-of-state VIN verifications or transactions submitted to another state’s DMV, Rollin VIN Verifiers is not responsible if the receiving state refuses or rejects the VIN verification form. Requirements vary by state and may change without notice.

Cancellation Policy

Scheduled Appointments

  • Customers must provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.

  • Same-day cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • No-call/no-show appointments may result in a full service charge.

Mobile Service Delays

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • The vehicle is accessible

  • The VIN plate is visible

  • Required documents are available

  • The vehicle owner or authorized representative is present

If the appointment cannot be completed due to customer-related issues, a trip fee and/or partial service fee may apply.

DMV Errors, Lost Documents & Re-Issued VIN Verification Policy

While we make every effort to ensure all documents are properly completed and submitted, DMV offices and mail carriers may occasionally misplace or lose documents.

Lost DMV Documents

If a DMV office states that a VIN verification document was lost after submission:

  • Customers may request a re-issued VIN verification appointment.

  • Re-issued VIN verifications require a new physical inspection of the vehicle per DMV requirements.

  • Additional travel fees may apply depending on location.

Re-Issue Fees

The following fees apply for re-issued VIN verifications:

Mailing & Shipping

  • Customers requesting mailed documents may choose USPS Priority, Priority Express, or another carrier at their expense.

  • Rollin VIN Verifiers is not responsible for delays caused by USPS, FedEx, UPS, or other shipping providers.

  • Tracking information will be provided when available.

Administrative Errors

If an error is made directly by Rollin VIN Verifiers on the VIN verification form:

  • We will correct the issue at no additional charge within a reasonable service area.

  • Additional fees may apply if inaccurate information was originally provided by the customer.

Service Agreement

By scheduling service with Rollin VIN Verifiers, the customer acknowledges and agrees to all refund, cancellation, re-issuance, and document handling policies listed above.
