Effective Date: November 4, 2026
Welcome to Rollin VIN Verifiers. By accessing our website, requesting an estimate, scheduling an appointment, or purchasing our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
These terms are intended to establish clear expectations regarding our mobile vehicle verification services, emissions compliance testing, pricing, scheduling, and customer responsibilities.
1. Services Provided
Rollin VIN Verifiers provides mobile vehicle-related services throughout designated service areas in Southern California and other locations by arrangement.
Our services may include:
California DMV VIN verification services
Mobile vehicle identification inspections
CARB Clean Truck Check emissions compliance testing
Fleet vehicle verification services
Vehicle registration and documentation consulting
Other vehicle-related services as specifically agreed upon
All services are subject to applicable laws, licensing restrictions, vehicle eligibility, and appointment availability.
Rollin VIN Verifiers is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or California Air Resources Board (CARB).
2. Appointment Scheduling and Availability
Appointments are scheduled based on availability, service location, and the type of vehicle or service requested.
Customers must provide accurate information when requesting an appointment, including the vehicle's location, type, condition, and requested service.
Appointment arrival times are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, previous appointments, road conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
We reserve the right to reschedule or decline appointments when necessary.
3. Pricing and Travel Fees
Service prices are based on the requested service, vehicle type, location, number of vehicles, and other applicable requirements.
Our standard mobile VIN verification service generally starts at $85 per vehicle.
Additional fees may include:
Travel charges calculated at $0.80 per round-trip mile
Extended service-area fees
Additional vehicle inspection fees
Specialized testing or equipment requirements
Long-distance travel expenses, including lodging when applicable
Retesting or return-visit charges
Any applicable charges will be communicated through an estimate or service agreement before the appointment is confirmed.
Quoted prices may change if the information provided by the customer is inaccurate or the requested service changes.
We will communicate additional charges before performing work beyond the agreed scope.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring the vehicle and required documentation are available at the scheduled appointment.
For VIN verification appointments, customers should provide:
Vehicle title, registration, or other supporting ownership documentation
Access to the vehicle identification number (VIN)
Access to the odometer when applicable
Access to the engine compartment and required identification labels
A complete and assembled vehicle suitable for physical inspection
A safe, accessible location where the inspection may be performed
Customers must ensure they have the legal authority to authorize an inspection of the vehicle.
Failure to provide necessary documentation, vehicle access, or a safe inspection environment may result in an incomplete appointment and applicable service or travel charges.
5. VIN Verification Limitations
VIN verification services involve physically inspecting a vehicle and documenting identifying information in accordance with applicable California DMV requirements.
A VIN verification does not:
Establish or guarantee legal ownership
Guarantee California DMV registration or title approval
Replace a required CHP or DMV inspection
Certify the vehicle's mechanical condition or roadworthiness
Resolve title discrepancies, liens, ownership disputes, or registration holds
Guarantee acceptance of incomplete or insufficient ownership documents
Certain vehicles must be referred to the DMV or California Highway Patrol (CHP) because of vehicle classification, identification irregularities, or other regulatory requirements.
Rollin VIN Verifiers reserves the right to decline or discontinue a verification when the vehicle cannot legally or properly be verified.
Final decisions regarding registration, titling, and document acceptance remain with the appropriate government agency.
6. CARB Clean Truck Check Services
CARB Clean Truck Check testing is performed in accordance with applicable California Air Resources Board requirements.
Customers are responsible for:
Confirming whether their vehicles are subject to Clean Truck Check
Maintaining accurate vehicle information in the CARB reporting system
Paying applicable government compliance fees
Ensuring vehicles are available and suitable for testing
Arranging necessary repairs when vehicles fail testing
Meeting all applicable compliance deadlines
Test results depend on the vehicle's condition, emissions systems, diagnostic readiness, and applicable testing requirements.
Payment for testing does not guarantee a passing result.
A failed, invalid, or incomplete test may require repairs, additional vehicle operation, or retesting.
Additional testing charges may apply and will be disclosed before the additional service is performed.
Rollin VIN Verifiers is responsible for submitting test results when required of the credentialed tester. Vehicle owners remain responsible for their overall regulatory compliance.
7. Payment Terms
Payment requirements will be communicated when an estimate or appointment confirmation is provided.
Depending on the appointment, payment may be required before service, upon completion, or in advance for extended-distance travel.
Accepted payment methods may include Zelle, credit cards, and other approved payment arrangements.
Any applicable payment-processing fees will be disclosed before payment and assessed only where permitted by law.
Long-distance appointments may require advance payment or a deposit to reserve travel and service availability.
Customers are responsible for paying all agreed service charges.
8. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that appointment schedules may change.
Customers are encouraged to provide at least 24 hours' notice when requesting a cancellation or rescheduling.
For appointments involving extended travel, hotel reservations, or special arrangements, cancellation terms may be established separately before booking.
Any nonrefundable deposit, cancellation charge, or travel-related expense must be disclosed and agreed upon before payment.
Where permitted by law, customers may be responsible for services already performed and reasonable, previously agreed travel-related costs incurred before cancellation.
9. Refund Policy
Refund requests are evaluated based on the services performed, the circumstances of the appointment, and applicable law.
A refund is not automatically warranted solely because:
The DMV requests additional documents or inspections
The DMV rejects an application for reasons unrelated to an error by Rollin VIN Verifiers
A vehicle fails a CARB emissions compliance test
The customer supplied incorrect or incomplete vehicle information
A separate government agency requires additional corrective action
If an error attributable to Rollin VIN Verifiers is identified, we will review the circumstances and determine an appropriate correction or remedy consistent with applicable law.
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or other consumer rights required by law.
10. Vehicle Condition and Inspection Safety
Customers must provide vehicles in a condition that allows inspections or testing to be conducted safely.
We may decline or suspend service when circumstances involve:
Unsafe vehicle conditions
Inaccessible or damaged identification labels
Suspected VIN tampering or irregularities
Unsafe parking or inspection environments
