In California, only CHP verifies and inspects Salvage Vehicles.

Motorcycles with engine changes or no record

Only CHP can verify and inspect these types of motorcycles.

Missing Federal label

All vehicles from 1970 or newer must have a Federal Certification Label. If the label is missing, the vehicle must be inspected and verified by the CHP.

On the Road

If your vehicle is not listed in the “vehicles we do not verify” section, it likely qualifies for a VIN verification with Rollin VIN Verifiers.
